Where are you in your heartbreak healing journey?
Are you weeping on the floor, torturing yourself by looking at pictures of him (or of him and you together, or--the horror--of him and his new girlfriend? Listening to Adele on repeat?
Or are you cursing his name, punching your pillow whilst pretending it's his stupid face, and screaming “How. Could. You. Do. This. To. Me!?!!!”

It's ok, love. That's Heartbreak, and just like any grief process, it doesn't follow a linear path. You can be wallowing in a Kleenex fort one day, flying high the next day, and then right back on your knees day after.
Still, grief DOES have some typical stages that most of us go through. The two most well-known grief models out there claim either 5 or 7 stages. But in my experience, and from what I've witnessed in my beautiful clients' journeys, I'd actually say there are WAY more than 7 stages. Here are just a few:
Shock/Confusion "What. The. Fuck. Just. Happened?"
Denial "I'm FINE! Can't you see my big smile??"
Party Animal You can never fall down if you just stay up, am I right?
Workaholic Maybe it's work, maybe it's an art project, maybe it's another thing--but it's definitely keeping you from feeling/thinking about your broken heart.
Analysis "If only I can understand what happened…"
Anger "How could he?!?" *punches pillow like it's his dumb face*
Sadness This one is pretty self-explanatory, yup.
Starvation "I'm empty, I yearn, I'm nothing without them."
Self-Care Massages, facials, yoga, meditation, yoga again, retreats.
Acceptance Comes in flashes, then more and more often, and then finally, one day, it sticks.
Whatever stage you're passing through, or stuck in, there are time-tested and powerful tools to help you. Ways to both HONOR where you are, while gently NUDGING you onward, getting you closer and closer to the confident, easeful, hot-ass lady you were before the heartbreak.
